PROVEN INDUSTRY LOCK 2517-D1 FITS 2 5/16 DEMCO CAST COUPLERS

Function

• Prevents unauthorized trailer hookup: It locks over the coupler/latch so the trailer cannot be connected to a tow vehicle without removing the lock.

• Made for Demco cast couplers: The D1 version is for cast Demco couplers; the similar 2517-D is for stamped Demco couplers.

• Close-fitting design: Proven Industries describes it as a precision/"glove-like" fit intended to minimize gaps that could be exploited
• Security lock: The current version uses a 7-pin tubular Cobra lock core as standard.
• Trailer-theft protection: It is particularly intended for heavy-duty enclosed car trailers, including show-car transport trailers.
