Load Lifter 5000 Ultimate Air Spring Kit

The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Spring Kit is an auxiliary air-suspension system designed to support the rear suspension of pickup trucks and vans, especially when towing or carrying heavy loads.

How it functions

• Supports additional weight: Two air springs mount between the vehicle's frame and rear suspension. When inflated, they provide additional spring support and can provide up to 5,000 lb of load-leveling capacity.
• Maintains ride height: Adding air pressure helps prevent the rear of the vehicle from sagging under a trailer, payload, or other heavy cargo. This helps maintain more consistent steering, braking, and handling.
• Adjustable: Air pressure can be adjusted according to the load. The system is generally adjustable from about 5–100 PSI, allowing the suspension to be softened when unloaded and increased when carrying heavier loads.
• Internal jounce bumper: The "Ultimate" version has a built-in jounce bumper inside each air spring. It cushions suspension movement, reduces harsh impacts on rough roads, and provides protection if an air spring loses pressure.
• Does not increase GVWR: The 5,000-lb figure is load-leveling/support capacity, not an increase in the truck's factory payload or GVWR. You still must stay within the vehicle manufacturer's weight ratings.
