2.5" IN RECEIVER HITCH SILENCER

A 2.5" receiver hitch silencer is designed to reduce or eliminate the rattling, clunking, and movement between a 2.5-inch trailer hitch receiver and the hitch accessory inserted into it.

Function

• Reduces noise: Minimizes rattling and clunking while driving.
• Reduces hitch movement: Helps eliminate excess play between the receiver and hitch shank.
• Improves stability: Keeps hitch-mounted accessories more secure and steady.
• Protects components: Reduces repeated impact and vibration between the receiver and hitch.
• Easy installation: Typically clamps around the hitch connection and is tightened with hardware to apply pressure.

It is primarily a noise- and movement-reduction device; it does not increase the towing capacity of the hitch.
