19-C WRANGLER/20-C GLADIATOR 2 PLUG BRAKE CONTROL ADAPTER

A 19-c Wrangler / 20-c Gladiator 2-plug brake control adapter is a wiring harness used to connect an aftermarket trailer brake controller to the factory wiring in certain Jeep vehicles. It’s commonly used on the 2019+ Jeep Wrangler JL and 2020+ Jeep Gladiator.

The adapter’s job is to link the brake controller to the vehicle’s electrical system without cutting or splicing wires.

In simple terms, it acts as a plug-and-play bridge between:

• The vehicle’s factory tow wiring connector (under the dashboard)

• The aftermarket trailer brake controller

The harness has two connectors (“2-plug”):

1. Vehicle plug → snaps into the Jeep’s OEM brake-controller socket.

2. Controller plug → connects to the brake controller unit.

Once connected, the brake controller can:

• Send electrical braking power to the trailer brakes

• Apply proportional braking when you press the vehicle brake pedal

• Allow manual override braking from the controller

• Coordinate trailer braking with the Jeep’s braking system
